The TAT 100 beacon is used to track vehicles and valuable assets. This device has a small size, has a rugged dust and moisture-proof housing (IP 67) and is easy to mount using various mounting tools. The beacon is equipped with an internal battery that works up to 3 years offline, when going on the air once a day. The battery life of Teltonika TAT100 depends on the frequency of location data transmission – the higher the frequency, the shorter the battery life and vice versa.
One of the advantages of the device is that it works as a backup tracker – it periodically pings the master device via Bluetooth to check its connection to the car. In this mode, the tracker can work for more than 3 years. In the event that a wired device is disconnected, the TAT100 BLE starts working as the main standalone tracker.
The TAT100 beacon operates offline most of the time, activated when needed to send scheduled or emergency alerts.
